(Dragon Dice Expansion) Control of the battlefield is vital for the ambitious general. With the new Battlefields expansion, Dragon Dice adds a number of new ways for players to defend and control the field. Battlefields adds a number of new dice to the Dragon DiceÔ game. The terrain dice now will include the new Feylands (red/green) and Wastelands (red/blue) terrains, completing the elemental color sets for terrains. New frontier-only terrains change the way players can set the playing field to their advantage. These terrains can only be used at the frontier, making the strategic choice to go first or choose the frontier more critical for the experienced general. These special terrains are the Dragon's Lair, Vortex, Grove, and SFR Castle. Each provides its own unique special effects for the general strong enough to capture it. The Battlefields expansion also includes minor terrains, lesser objectives that you can bring into the game to provide special effects for your army. These minor terrains include reprints of the minor terrains from the now out of print Magestorm! expansion, as well as new minor terrains to match the Feylands and Wastelands. Minor terrains allow players to use the full rule set, and add a level of strategy to game play. Each Battlefields box includes seven terrain dice in a random assortment: 1 Feyland terrain and 1 Wasteland terrain, each in a random mix of 8 types; 2 special frontier terrains in a random mix of 4 types and 4 color combinations; and 3 minor terrains in a random mix of 6 color combinations and 4 types.
