However, there is more to the life of a farmer than just the genial country life - it also requires many hours of hard work to bring in a rich harvest. Players take on the roles of these settlers, developing their land and building farms. Each cultivated field yields victory points; however,each round players may decide to forego these points and save up for their farms instead, which also provide victory points. All the while, you need to keep an eye on your opponents, so that they do not grow too large and expand at your expense.
